September 22nd, October 20th, November 10th, and December 15th.

Cooking For Kids

Our first two Cooking for Kids classes are full. We have added another class. On Saturday, September 29, from 9:30 am -11:30 am Noon, we are having a free life skills class for kids from 8 to 18. This class we will be preparing Pot Pie.  Please note: Kid cooks will be working with knives and cooking on a stove.  All participants must be able to follow directions and safely handle cooking instruments and a stove.  Kids will learn to cook full meals from scratch using fresh ingredients.  Lunch is included from the food cooked that day.   Please call the church office to reserve your spot.  There is still space for 3 participants.

Choir:

Beginning in September, we will have a monthly Choir Sunday - which will be the fourth Sunday of the Month.  If you would like to be part of the choir, please contact Ben or the church office.  Please try on the choir robes in Ben’s office and pick one that fits you and put your name on it.  We will then have them cleaned before the first Choir Sunday.

St. Mark’s has been contacted by the Birdsboro Food Pantry asking us to participate in an ongoing collection of laundry detergent to help the more than 80 families served by the Pantry. A laundry basket can be found in the narthex of the church to place your purchases of laundry detergent and it will be taken to the Birdsboro Food Pantry as the basket fills up. As you shop for your household supplies, please consider purchasing an additional bottle or box of detergent to help the needy families of Birdsboro.

BOYER’S FOOD MARKET CARING AND SHARING KEY TAGS are available in the narthex of the church. If you present the key tag during checkout Boyer’s will give a 1% rebate to St. Mark’s. The money the church receives will go into the Capital Improvement Fund.

MICHAEL'S RESTAURANT on Route 422 in Douglassville will give us a percentage of your bill.  When it is time to pay just tell the cashier you are a member of St Mark’s in Birdsboro.  What a world, you enjoy your meal and help St Mark’s at the same time.
